USCIS Extends Green Card Validity Extension to 36 Months for Green Card Renewals

Starting September 10, 2024, USCIS extended the validity of Green Cards to 36 months for those who file Form I-90 to replace their card. The updated Form I-90 receipt notices reflect this extension, providing proof of status and work authorization while awaiting a new Green Card. If you need evidence of status and no longer have your Green Card, you can request an ADIT stamp from a USCIS Field Office. Remember to update your mailing address if it changes during the process.
