Practice Alert: Latest Form I-140 Edition Mandatory July 9, 2023

USCIS announced that the latest edition of Form I-140, dated 05/31/2022, will become mandatory effective July 9, 2023. AILA recommends that all members who regularly file Form I-140 verify with their software providers that the 05/31/2022 edition is properly installed in time for this edition update. Additionally, AILA recommends that as a best practice, members review each page of the form for the correct edition date.

Please note that AILA will not be able to offer liaison assistance related to form edition dates, if one or more pages of the filed form are from outdated edition dates.
