USCIS Will Now Use the Dates for Filing Chart to Calculate Noncitizens’ Ages for CSPA Purposes

USCIS Clarifies Physical Presence Guidance for Asylees and Refugees Applying for Adjustment of Status

USCIS has updated its policy manual to clarify that asylees and refugees must have been physically present in the US for one year when their Form I-485 is adjudicated, rather than at the time of filing. Additionally, refugees with J-1/J-2 status are not subject to the two-year foreign residence requirement. Click here to learn more.
