Designation Allows Eligible Haitians Who Resided in the U.S. as of July 29 to Apply for TPS and Employment Authorization Documents

The designation of Haiti for Temporary Protected Status enables an estimated 100,000 additional individuals to file initial applications for TPS. To be eligible for TPS under this designation, individuals must demonstrate that they have continuously resided in the United States since July 29, 2021.
