Addilene's passion for immigration law originated from her experience as the daughter of immigrants, who instilled in her a strong value for education from a young age. In addition, she harbors a deep passion for writing.
Addilene earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from North Park University in 2013. She then pursued her Juris Doctor at DePaul University College of Law, graduating in 2017. During law school, she served as Secretary for the Latino Law Student Association, competed in the National Latino Law Student Association Moot Court Competition, and contributed as a researcher for the DePaul Journal for Social Justice.
Addilene has extensive experience in family-based immigration, handling cases such as family petitions for spouses, children, and parents; naturalization; U visas; VAWAs; fiancé visas; and applications for removal defense. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and is a proud member of the Minnesota State Bar Association . As a native Spanish speaker, Addilene brings valuable language skills to her practice. Outside of work, she enjoys powerlifting, reading true crime novels, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
